Pink Ribbon Walk – Queenstown

Reading Time: 3 minutes

The Pink Ribbon Walk events celebrate survivors, remember those that we have lost, raise awareness and much needed funds to work towards Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand’s (BCFNZ) vision of zero deaths from breast cancer.

In New Zealand, nine women a day – more than 3,300 a year – are diagnosed with breast cancer. Around 25 men are diagnosed each year, too. With your help through BCFNZ Pink Ribbon Walk they can continue saving lives through early detection, expanding horizons in breast cancer research and supporting those in their time of need.

With both 5km and 10km options, this is a fun walk for everyone. So, join BCFNZ and thousands of others in Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown or Wellington and walk for the ones you love.

On Day Schedule:

Join us from 10:15am for pre-event entertainment including games, spot prizes and freebies! From there we will have our official welcome and Health and Safety briefing at 10:45am, before setting off at 11:00am.
